A Cast for McKenna

This was a project that my daughter and I did a few weeks after we bought McKenna. We also did the crutches alongside with it. The crutches were simply made from kebab and popsicle sticks. It received more than 4,000 views already since we posted it in March. And since then, everyone has been asking how we did the cast that McKenna has in our tutorial video. So my daughter decided to post a video last weekend on how we did the cast. This project is a bit messy and tricky since it is done through papier mache;lots of cutting and gluing. However, my daughter enjoyed painting and signing the cast, that’s her favorite part. Below is the video tutorial on how to make the cast.

This is a photo of McKenna wearing the cast and the crutches.
